What We Believe

We believe in God, the Creator of all things, whose power is perfect, whose love is unshakeable, and whose grace is sufficient. We believe in Jesus the Christ, God in human form, who lived, died, and rose again to reveal the way of truth, love, justice, and liberation. His teachings are not just history. They are a blueprint for holy, human living. We believe in the Holy Spirit, alive and active, still speaking, still stirring, still calling people to healing, wholeness, and purpose. We believe the Spirit shows up in unexpected places and speaks through unexpected people. We believe that salvation is not a transaction but a transformation, freely offered, deeply personal, and meant to be lived out in love and community. We believe the Bible is a living text, divinely inspired and deeply human, best understood through study, relationship, and the lens of liberating love. Scripture is not a weapon. It’s a witness. We believe all people are created in the image of God, with inherent worth and divine purpose, regardless of race, gender, sexual identity, orientation, ability, or background. There is no hierarchy of humanity in the Kingdom of God. We believe that justice is not political. It’s biblical. To follow Jesus is to stand with the oppressed, speak truth to power, and pursue peace that makes room for righteousness. We believe the Church is not a building. It is a people. Wherever truth is told, love is lived, and purpose is pursued, the Church is present. We believe that every believer has a calling, a God thing, and our role is to help people discover it, grow in it, and live it out with courage and clarity.

Faith Was Never Meant To Be Passive

You were created on purpose. For a purpose. By a Creator who still believes in you, and fully intends to set the world right through people just like you. The world doesn’t need more hustle. It needs your obedience. It needs your harvest. Not just of success, but of justice, healing, and truth. This movement is not about being famous. Or impressive. Or right by the world’s standards. It’s about being faithful in a world that rewards performance and impedes purpose. It’s about doing the thing God planted in you... Before systems tried to bury it. Before shame tried to silence it. It’s about interrupting the cycle of striving, silence, and spiritual exhaustion, and becoming living proof that God is still moving, still freeing, still rebuilding what injustice tried to erase. You don’t have to fix everything. You just have to DoYourGodThing! Fully. Joyfully. Boldly. Even if no one claps. Even if no one gets it. Because Heaven already does. What Is DYGTol?

We are here to call people back to the heart of God. DYGTol™ is the digital gathering and discipleship space of the DoYourGodThing!™ Movement: a guided community for study, reflection, practice, conversation, and spiritual growth. This is where we learn to reconnect faith with practice, purpose with participation, and belief with the kind of love that transforms how we live, serve, create, heal, and care for one another. Not faith as performance. Not faith as fear. Not faith as a costume for approval. Faith that loves. Faith that works. Faith that tells the truth. Faith that changes us. Questioning is Not Failure

We believe questioning doctrine is not rebellion. The Bible itself is full of wrestling, doubt, grief, protest, reinterpretation, growth, and revelation unfolding over time. Faith is not the absence of questions. Faith is the willingness to keep pursuing truth, love, and God through them.
And if you’ve ever been on the receiving end of distorted interpretation, DYGTol is a place where we examine the text together. We are not here to weaponize Scripture or reduce it to isolated verses. We are here to engage the whole story honestly and faithfully.

Who Is DYGT! For?


If you've ever been made to feel like God doesn't love you, or can't use you until you've met man's standard for holy, DYGT! is for you. 
But you don't have to be a cast out to come back in. DYGT! is for anyone who truly wants to believe. For people rebuilding faith. For people asking hard questions. For people tired of performance religion. For people who believe love, justice, healing, truth, and discipleship still matter. For whatever reason you've arrived, there's room for you here.

Why "Do Your God Thing"?

Everyone has a God Thing: a calling, a burden, a purpose. Some people are called to teach. Some to build. Some to heal. Some to disrupt broken systems. Some to restore what has been neglected. Faith is not just something we claim. It is something to be practiced. But many believers spend their lives disconnected from the very peace, joy, and abundance that come from the faith they claim…or neglect. Too often, people unknowingly settle for half-faith, dormant faith, fear-based faith, or performance-based religion, and wonder why peace is still missing. We learn how to look faithful without learning how to live aligned. DYGT! is built around the belief that alignment matters. Peace, purpose, growth, and spiritual fruit become difficult to sustain when belief and practice drift apart. Sometimes struggle looks obvious: anxiety, addiction, hopelessness, burnout, or loneliness. Sometimes struggle looks like success, because not all suffering is visible, and not all success holds peace. That’s why DYGT! exists: to encourage people to live intentionally, love boldly, grow spiritually, and participate fully in the work God has placed before them. We believe God’s promises are real — that Scripture offers wisdom, direction, correction, hope, and practical guidance for how people flourish individually and collectively. But before there was purpose, calling, or Spirit-led assignment, at the heart of every divine promise was one holy command: Love.
